We’re excited to share our latest video introducing Aretian’s methodology and projects, designed to help cities and companies understand complexity, test scenarios, and make better decisions for their people and communities. Cities face enormous challenges: housing affordability, mobility, climate resilience, and economic transformation. Yet institutions often work with fragmented data and limited decision-making tools. At Aretian Urban Analytics and Design, we combine City Science, AI, urban design, and engineering to turn complexity into clarity.

Founded at Harvard Graduate School of Design and incubated at Harvard Innovation Labs, Aretian works with cities worldwide. From Barcelona and Boston to Monterrey and Belém, we design resilient, innovative, and human-centered urban futures. In this video, our CEO, Ramon Gras, shares how City Science can transform the way cities are planned and governed. Thanks also to Fanny Magini and Elijah Munn, who also contributed to presenting our vision and the capabilities of the City Digital Twin. Our ambition: to build the world’s leading City Digital Twin, empowering governments, companies, and institutions to:

  • Diagnose urban challenges with precision;

  • Benchmark globally to identify best practices;

  • Simulate smart policies and investments before implementation;

  • Design more inclusive and sustainable cities.

This video also highlights three of our latest urban projects: the Barcelona - Sant Feliu de Llobregat Innovation District Masterplan (Spain); the Tec de Monterrey Tlalpan Innovation District Masterplan in Mexico City (Mexico); and the NOA Belém Airport District (Brazil), designed in alignment with COP30 resilience principles and a vision for sustainable growth rooted in natural resources.
