Ramon Gras Alomà, Aretian Urban Analytics and Design co-founder, was invited to participate in the coming event, on November 12th, surrounding the Horizon 32 Strategic Plan for Reus, Spain. He will discuss with other experts the local strategies that the city can adopt to face future challenges. The “Reus Horizon 32” Strategic Plan, organized by the Ajuntament de Reus, is a 10-years plan intended to gather consensus and respond to current needs and anticipate future challenges. Other speakers include: Oriol Estela Barnet (PEMB), Cristina Sánchez Miret (Universitat de Girona), Sergi Reventós Panyella (UAB), Kepa Korta Murua (City of Donostia) and Anabel Gulías Torreiro (City of Pontevedra).

City Science shaping urban design and economic development strategies:
The Reus Horizon 32 plan includes 3 different phases of development; Diagnosis & Strategy, Prospection, and Action Plan. In the first event, Diagnosis & Strategy, Ramon will discuss potential solutions that can provide lasting and sustainable solutions around economic development through the design of Innovation Districts. Ramon will also discuss the contribution that Aretian’s Science of Cities methodology can make to integrate art and science in shaping urban design and economic development strategies.
