On May 7th, Aretian was pleased to contribute to the “Reimagining Madrid 2040” conference alongside distinguished leaders from the fields of public policy, urbanism and culture including Juan Ignacio Vidarte (Guggenheim Museum Bilbao), Myriam Peón González (Madrid City Council), Alfonso Vegara Jr. (Fundación Metrópoli) and our CEO Ramon Gras Alomà in a session organized by the AECOM team led by Elvira Muñoz and Víctor Pérez Raposo.

The event fostered a highly stimulating discussion around the need to overcome outdated planning paradigms and develop a new generation of urban visions capable of addressing today’s challenges. One of the key reflections shared throughout the conference was the importance of combining rigorous analysis, long-term strategic thinking and design excellence to embrace ambitious interventions in order to unlock meaningful urban transformation and improve quality of life for citizens.

At Aretian, we strongly believe that City Science, advanced analytics, and evidence-based urban design can help cities build more resilient, innovative, and human-centered futures.
